Pat Condell describes "Progressives" in Europe and their sense of reasoning seems to be very similar to that which is obtainable in Nigeria. Though, what excites the polity in Europe seems trivial when compared to what we have in Nigeria. We are still grappling to provide basic amenities in Nigeria. So, the talk of human rights or the rule of law is not taken seriously here. But the "Progressive" attributes as explained by this man is the same Political perspective we see here in Nigeria especially in the South-West. They do what they believe is correct, not what is right etc. From what obtains in Nigeria, "Progressive" creates strong men and i do not see a future for "Progressives" beyond or after infrastructural development.
