Former Two and Half Men actor Charlie Sheen confirmed that he is HIV positive on NBC’s Today show Tuesday morning. He said "It's a hard three letters to absorb, you know?". The actor said he has known his diagnosis for about four years, and that people have demanded money for silence about his status. He also said that all of his sexual partners since his diagnosis have known that he is HIV positive, and that the few partners he had unprotected sex with were under the care of his doctor and fully aware of his status. The National Enquirer exposed Sheen’s status in a cover story on Monday.
