First of all, what authority do they have to demand the presence of a minister and secondly, I thought they claim most of the roads in Nigeria have been transformed. We'll have to give them props though, they are facing reality as election moves closer, the vote bank is grumbling.
The best way to solve bad road problems is to lift the road construction burden off the government, federal roads should be given to concessionaires and meagre tolls will be collected by the company over an extended period to ease the burden on the public and businesses. While municipal and city roads should be given to empowered local governments who will generate revenue via parking fees, tickets and traffic violations.
