Watching the AFCON qualifier match between Nigeria and Sudan, I thought the match was being played on another planet. The ball flying around so fast and the the players running around, looking like they are on a tightrope. From a spectators point of view, artificial turfs look really dangerous and uncomfortable and it seems the ground under the turf is concrete giving how high the ball bounces when it hits the turf.
