President Jonathan Fires Sports Minister

Yes! The boss is taking charge SMH. President Jonathan is a very weird man. He'll either do the right thing at the wrong time or the wrong thing at the wrong time. The saying, "You can't satisfy everyone" does not apply to Mr. President, he is just like that, a terrible decision maker. The guy named a university after an avid sports fan and sponsor. What the hell?

On one hand, we would think he should have dropped Bolaji Abdullahi as soon the disagreement with Saraki and Ahmed started. No, he left him because his hands were "tied". Bolaji was performing his duties as sports Minister diligently and successfully even though he was politically with the opposition, isn't that how things are meant to be?

Now, in other to perfect his 2015 ambition, the President made a tough decision to fire a popular performing minister, who has managed to stay out of scandals and uncomfortable situations (except the Bash Ali security man-handling). So, why can't tough and unpopular decision be made on the fight against corruption and Boko-haram. Not the subsidy removal type of surprise, you can't do that when the nation knows you've budgeted millions for your own feeding everyday and live in undeserved opulence.

Well, the recently approved ministers have been assigned various portfolios. Koro was assigned the Minister of state, Defence (Watin Koro wan defend?) lol. And what's the difference between a Minister of state and a normal Minister? Dr. Tamuno Danagogo is the new Minister of sports. Others are, Mohammed Wakil -Minister of State Power, Alhaji Abduljelili Adesiyan -Minister of Police Affairs, Ambassador Aminu Wali -Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mrs. Akon Eyakenyi -Minister of Land and Housing, Lawrencia Laraba Mallam -Minister of Environment, Hajia Asabe Asmau Ahmed -Minister of State Agriculture, Gen. Aliyu Gusau -Minister of Defence, Boni Haruna -Minister of Youth Development and Dr. Khaliru Alhassan - Minister of State Health.
