Where Do Nigerian Former Heads of State Spend Retirement?

Alhaji Shehu Shagari lives in Sokoto, he retired there after Tunde Idiagbon and Muhamadu Buhari toppled his government.

Chief Ernest Shonekan is retired in Abeokuta and Lagos. You see him in Abuja at times when he is here for the monthly meetings of former Presidents.

Muhammadu Buhari is retired in Kaduna, though you'll find him in Daura or Abuja at times too.

Abdulsalam Abubakar is chilling in Minna, close to his buddy Babangida. He shuttles to Abuja too at times.

Ibrahim Babangida is chilling on his hill top estate, over seeing his buddy Abdulsalam and the rest of Minna. He leaves Minna for overseas sometimes to treat his leg.

Olusegun Obasanjo is also chilling in his farm and hill side mansion in Otta. Baba has no reason to be any where else.

Yakubu Gowon is retired in Jos, GRA, nice place and easily accessible.

Where will President Jonathan retire when he is no more in Aso rock? The last pictures we saw of President Jonathan's private home, we were shown an uncompleted duplex blown at one time by MEND and built in swamp, surrounded by less privileged neighbours. Where will president Jonathan Spend his retirement when he leaves office in either 2015 or 2019.
