| English Goal Line technology |
The new goaline technology was put to test today 18th August as Chlesea football club played their 2013/2014 season opener against Hullcity at Stamford bridge. Hull city Goal Keeper Mcgregor stopped an attempt at goal from a Chelsea corner kick right on the goal line to keep the scores 2-0 in favour of Chelsea late in the second half. The first half ended 2-0 in Chelsea's favour.
From what was shown, the technology passed its first test with flying colours.
