Court Finds Okah Guilty For 2010 Independence Day Bombing

What law gives a South-African court jurisdiction over this case? Does Nigeria have a treaty with South-Africa? I don't get it. Lawyers please enlighten us. The Judge said,

"For the reasons set out above, I've come to the conclusion that the STATE prove beyond a reasonable doubt, the guilt of the accused on the main charges of count 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12 and 13 as set out in the indictment".

What state? Does a South-African court have jurisdiction over this case?
