Pakistani Arrested with Drugs Worth N120m in Lagos

Syed Ahmed-bukari was arrested at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, trying to smuggle 13 kilograms of "high grade" heroin with an estimated street value of about N120m into the country.

He was picked up by the Nigerian drug law enforcement agency (NDLEA) shortly after arriving aboard a Qatar airways flight from Doha. The 35 year old suspect was carrying a Pakistani international passport with number BT3347071.

NDLEA's airport commander Hamza Umar said a 42 year old Nigerian, Okereke Chukwudi who is suspected to be an accomplice was also arrested. NDLEA C.E.O Alhaji Ahmadu Giade said " Drug trafficking is attractive to criminal cartels because it brings them huge profits, but we are determined to make it unprofitable through regular seizures" Abeg make una dey catch them, well done.
